Now through 11 April is an incredibly busy time at HighTechXL, the Netherlands’ premier deeptech accelerator, with three major events at High Tech Campus Eindhoven even before Beyond Tech, one of the biggest tech conferences of the year.
Each event is an opportunity to become deeply embedded in Eindhoven’s ecosystem, which includes the most advanced tech companies in the world. At HighTechXL, we search for the latest deeptech, working with CERN, other advanced research efforts and tech companies. Then we build ventures around their technologies and take them to market. We’re looking for hard-driving people of all ages, and from all disciplines and backgrounds including students.
INTERNSHIP CASTING DAY 15 March
We developed the HighTechXL Internship Program, a personal and professional development program for university students in the 3rd-year or final year of their physics, innovation sciences, engineering or business programs.
Interns will work with startup teams on diverse assignments, giving them an in-depth view of deeptech in our accelerator program. In addition, you might be involved in other projects such as organizing events, supporting corporate projects or working on tooling development. Interns will also visit some of Eindhoven’s industry-dominant tech companies for day-long immersion in their corporate cultures.
We assign a mentor for valuable one-on-one personal development guidance, and we pair you with a HighTechXL buddy who will help you feel at home on our diverse, multicultural team.
The paid internship lasts three to six months, and interns work a minimum of 24 hours per week.

March 25: SmartConnect
Every two months, HighTechXL opens the door to help startups in all domains. The event is done in roundtables by subject, and entrepreneurs get 20 minutes per roundtable session with HighTechXL and community experts on finance, IP, business plan, storytelling/pitching, marketing, etc. It’s a free event and all startups are welcome.

April 11: Beyond Tech
This is our biggest event of the spring, a high tech conference. It will be a day of matchmaking investors and corporates with startups, 25 expert sessions, a massive pitch competition and a lot of networking. You can sign up as a startup wishing to be matched with investors and corporate partners, an investor or corporate partner wishing to be matched with startups, an attendee or a student volunteer.
