New Year’s Eve: The best clubs in London to see 2024 off in style

When it’s sweater weather and glitters are on the horizon, New Year’s Eve is just around the corner. The 31st is often a source of both great planning and stress when we’re unsure where to go and what kind of entertainment we seek to set the tone for the upcoming year.

Here is a list of my favourite nightclubs that still have New Year’s Eve party tickets on sale, and that are sure to welcome 2025 in the best possible fashion.

MOTH Club

What’s better than a good old ’80s party to advance in time whilst staying loyal to our first loves? This casual East London club will accommodate for large groups and great fun.

Doors open at 11 p.m.
Tickets from 28.33 pounds and you can get yours here.
Old Trades Hall, Valette Street, London E9 6NU

The Jago

I am physically incapable of writing a party related article without including my favourite Dalston institution. If a voyage into Cosmos with hints of Funk and Disco is what you’re looking for, head on straight to the Jago for New Year’s Eve.

Tickets 20 pounds and you can get yours here.
Doors open at 9 p.m.
440 Kingsland Road, Dalston, E8 4AA

Maggie’s Club

Fear not for I have not forgotten my West London dwellers. If a Miami Vice-style party is what you seek, Maggie’s and their complimentary cocktail upon arrival may have just what your dreams are made of. The Chelsea club night will be going from 10 pm to 4 am. Be careful though as last entries are at 1:30 and there is no entry from 11:30 to 12:30 (to make way for their epic new year countdown).

Tickets 35 pounds (tables available upon request, check out their website here.)
Doors open at 10 p.m.
329 Fulham Rd, Chelsea, London, SW10 9QL

Alice House Queen’s Park

Clubs are a popular place to dance on New Year’s Eve. However they are not to everyone’s taste or budget. More casual (and less expensive) alternatives are often lacking from the lists one may find. Alice House, Queen’s Park’s beloved neighborhood social will provide a place where to dance, chat and relax from 9.30 pm to 3 am. Tickets are cheaper and what’s best than a pub to throw the most homey and cozy party?

Tickets from 10 pounds and you can get yours here.
Doors open at 9:30 p.m.
53-55 Salusbury Rd, NW6 6NJ

Venue MOT

If you’re ready for some serious boogie, techno style, then Venue MOT is the way to go. This South Bermondsey space is host to a variety of electronic music genres and their NYE event looks like the best of techno, trance, house and dub from all over the world. The party will go on until 10 in the morning, leaving you plenty of time to make your mind up on which DJ will be your favourite of 2025. I would advise you to grab those tickets quickly before they vanish.

Tickets from 15 pounds and you can get yours here.
Doors open at 10 p.m.
Orion Business Centre, Surrey Canal Rd SE14 5RT
