(Editor’s note: In the past two years, shopping thrift stores and vintage apparel have become a thing as consumers across all economic strata look for quality clothes at bargain prices. So, this is the first in a series as we curate the best of the best across Europe starting in Paris, of course.)
Hey there, fashionistas, treasure hunters, and lovers of all things vintage!
Today, we’re embarking on a journey through the enchanting city of Paris to uncover its hidden gems – my top five thrift stores. When I first moved to Paris, it took me a while to find thrift stores I liked, so I might as well share my knowledge after years of thrifiting in the City of Lights.
Also, let’s be honest, inflation is making it less fun to shop, so thrifting is the way forward.

This is the thrift store with the most banal name in the capital, super easy to pronounce, and if you can’t, maybe you should think about seeing a speech therapist.
Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by quirky decor and an array of unique clothes, making it the most affordable second-hand shop in the entire capital! This gem of a store specializes in brand-name clothing that appears as good as new. But that’s not all – here’s the real treat: everything costs 1.50 euros on Wednesdays, and 0.95 euros on Thursdays.
I’m not kidding you!
And every Friday, they change everything they are selling. So, if you haven’t paid a visit yet, now is the perfect time to experience this one-of-a-kind shopping adventure.

Imagine stepping into a time capsule that takes you straight to the Swinging Sixties — welcome to By Flowers. This delightful thrift store nestled in the heart of Montmartre is a goldmine of retro fashion.

Kiloshop le Marais
There are quite a few Kiloshops in Paris, but this one is my fave. This store is a paradise for fashion explorers who adore the thrill of rummaging through racks of clothes by weight. Yes, you heard it right—by weight! Load up your basket and weigh your treasures at the counter.
From funky blouses to denim jackets and everything in between, Kiloshop guarantees an eclectic mix of styles that will satisfy your fashion cravings without emptying your wallet. Remember, the heavier, the merrier! Also, here’s a little hack: iI you love Levi’s jeans, they are way cheaper in the men’s section then in the women’s! They go for 15 to 20 euros a kilo.

Guerrisol
Guerrisol is kinda like the Lidl of thrifting: It’s super cheap, and there are plenty of stores all around Paris. From retro disco jumpsuits to bohemian floral dresses, this place has it all. It’s like entering a time machine that takes you on a thrilling fashion journey through the ages.
And the best part? The prices are as friendly as the staff, ensuring that you can leave with a bag full of stylish treasures without breaking the bank. So, buckle up, because Guerrisol in Paris is about to take you on a fashion safari you won’t soon forget!

Thanx God I’m a V.I.P
As the name of the shop indicates, they sell higher-end brands, like YSL, Dior, but at reasonable prices. You’ll find an impressive array of pre-owned high-end clothing, shoes, and accessories. By shopping here, you’re not only elevating your wardrobe but also making a positive impact on the planet.
It’s a win-win situation, my friends!
Everything is colour-coded which makes it very aestetically pleasing!THANX GOD I’M A V.I.P
